The UCF women’s soccer team jumped to No. 8 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, matching the 2009 team for the highest ranking during coach Amanda Cromwell’s tenure.
The Knights are coming off a trip to the Elite Eight last season. Florida State, which knocked off UCF earlier this season, is ranked No. 1 in the poll.
The Knights are riding a three-game winning streak, including the first victory over Georgia in school history.
